Our organic approach guarantees that our microgreens are pesticide free offering you the nutritious produce possible.
To preserve soil health and richness we employ crop rotation. Cultivate a selection of microgreens. This strategy prevents soil exhaustion, minimizes pest infestations and diseases and boosts biodiversity. By alternating crops such as broccoli, radish, arugula and peas we ensure that the soil remains productive year after year.
Recognizing the importance of water conservation we implement measures, for its use.
We utilize hydroponic and drip irrigation systems to efficiently water plant roots, reducing water loss through evaporation. Moreover we harness rainwater, for irrigation purposes lessening our dependence on city water supplies.
Our focus is on minimizing our carbon footprint by adopting energy methods and utilizing energy sources. Our farm incorporates panels to power our operations diminishing our reliance on energy sources. We also prioritize distribution to cut transportation emissions and bolster the economy.
At Emma’s Garden we adhere to a zero waste philosophy. Organic waste undergoes composting to enrich the soil or growing medium with nutrients. Non organic waste is meticulously sorted and recycled ensuring landfill contributions. Through waste management practices we contribute to an healthier environment.
